DESCRIPTION:Do you play an acoustic instrument?\nDo you like to sing? Do you enjoy listening to traditional music? \n\n\nCome join the acoustic music jam at the Huntingdon County Arts Center every first Monday of the month. \n\n\nWe’ll sing and play familiar songs and tunes and perhaps learn some new ones. \n\n\nAll acoustic instruments welcome (guitar\, keyboard\, fiddle\, banjo\, mandolin\, squeezebox\, flute\, harmonica\, autoharp\, etc.) \n\n\nWe’ll play in a variety of styles–old time\, bluegrass\, blues\, world\, traditional instrumental dance music\, singer-songwriter\, musicals–you get it\, anything that strikes our fancy. \nJam led by Larry Mutti.

SUMMARY:Camera Club
DESCRIPTION:The Camera Club is an opportunity to make friends with other people interested in photography\, have fun\, and learn from each other. There are no dues. All ages and photo skill levels are welcome. \nThe Camera Club meets the fourth Thursday of the month January through October. The November and December meetings are set each year around Thanksgiving\, the Art Walk\, and Christmas. The Club meets at the Huntingdon County Arts Center\, (formerly the 12th Street Methodist Church)\, corner of 12th & Mifflin St\, Huntingdon at 7:00 pm. Meetings may include speakers with photo shows and interesting photography tips\, group discussions about photo equipment\, techniques\, and/or composition. \nThe club is sponsored by the Huntingdon County Art Council.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 17 at 7 pm as the Art Cat Jazz Club returns\, featuring the Dirty Beets. \nThe Dirty Beets bring you a mix of originals and tasteful cover songs that sit somewhere in the funk/rock/psychedelic universe.\nExpect unexpected versions of some songs you may know with improvisational flair and delightful mashups. \nThe Dirty Beets are composed of Al Bills\, Nick Miller\, Larry Pool\, and Mike Zolnoski\, all experienced musicians in their own right\, who have come together to make your body move and your ears smile. \nAppetizers\, cash bar\, in a nightclub atmosphere. \nTickets are $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers.
