The Huntingdon County Arts Council was established in 1972 to enrich Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, through the encouragement, support, and promotion of the arts.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we receive support from local governments, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, and our membership.

The organization is governed by a board of directors, elected annually with representatives from throughout the county and varied backgrounds. Day-to-day activities are handled by an executive director and program coordinator, with support from volunteers.

In April 2022, the Arts Council purchased the 12th Street Methodist Church at 313 12th Street, Huntingdon, and turned it into the Huntingdon County Arts Center. The Arts Center is home to exhibits, concerts, classes and workshops, an Art Shoppe, and a meeting place for community organizations.
